Α different kind of hummus like dish called Fava in Greece, involving red lentils and my favourite seeds. Simple and so good!
⚜️Ingredients:
1 cup red lentils
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp pink salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp cumin
1 garlic glove
1 tbs almond butter
Boil the lentils with 2 cups water, salt & pepper for about 5-10 minutes. Put in a food processor together with the remaining water. Add rest ingredients. Blend for 2 minutes or until smooth. Done! You can add cumin, red onion, red pepper flakes on top, parsley, or grilled cherry tomatoes.
